The underlying intent of the studio is to fully integrate programmatic, technical and aesthetic concepts throughout the full range of design activity from schematic proposal to design development to contract document. The technology requirements of the studio will include artfully developed details in five areas: sustainability—specific structural systems mechanical systems envelope systems interior systems—specific concerns The operative word is ‘integrate’.
